A UK promotional-products business operating multiple specialist brands had accumulated a fragmented digital environment across websites, e-commerce systems, product data, advertising infrastructure and day-to-day digital operations.
Different components had evolved independently over time, making it harder to maintain consistent customer experiences and coordinate digital acquisition across the business.
The engagement focused on modernizing this foundation while supporting specialist e-commerce brands serving customizable promotional-product markets, including wristbands and lanyards.
The requirement extended beyond redesigning individual websites. The broader objective was to improve the underlying e-commerce experience, consolidate previously scattered digital components, establish the infrastructure required for product advertising and connect customer acquisition more closely with the destinations receiving that traffic.
Digital Bevy worked with the business over a seven-month engagement covering e-commerce development, digital infrastructure consolidation, product-advertising infrastructure and paid customer acquisition.
New e-commerce experiences were developed for two specialist product brands. The Wristbands Direct website was completed and moved into production, providing a modernized customer-facing destination for its specialist product offering.
A separate Lanyards Direct website was also substantially developed as part of the same modernization initiative. The engagement concluded before that website progressed to production, so the case study distinguishes completed development from an actual live launch.
Alongside website development, Digital Bevy established supporting Google Merchant Center infrastructure and managed Google advertising activity designed to generate customer enquiries.
The engagement therefore addressed both sides of the e-commerce environment: the customer-facing experience and the acquisition infrastructure responsible for bringing prospective customers to it.
